11.07.18 Authentic Pursuit
If we want Jesus to be the ruler of our lives and to spread the message of hope to the nations, then we must examine our hearts to clarify that we are living only for the King and not for the world around us. We must also remember that people do not want to live for something that is not real. In such a dark world, the message of light must be shown clearly and honestly. We are the examples of how incredible God's grace is! Living in a way that shows this truth can open the eyes of the hearts of the people around us. This can only be demonstrated with a visibly authentic life.
9.25.2018 Surrender
In sin, we are the controller of our lives, and that's not how God created it to be. Once we stop resisting and give up control, God becomes our friend and caregiver, provider and source of strength. When we adopt an attitude of surrender, we submit to his Holy authority and power. Surrendering means that we recognize that God knows more than we do, that he has the top authority over our lives. It cultivates ultimate dependence on Him.
