In sin, we are the controller of our lives, and that's not how God created it to be. Once we stop resisting and give up control, God becomes our friend and caregiver, provider and source of strength. When we adopt an attitude of surrender, we submit to his Holy authority and power. Surrendering means that we recognize that God knows more than we do, that he has the top authority over our lives. It cultivates ultimate dependence on Him.

9.12.2018 God Speaks Truth
When God speaks, He speaks the truth and He speaks power. When God says something, it simply is, it just becomes. When God said “...let there be light”, it became reality. God created the entirety of the world just by speaking. He thought every one of us into being. 1 John 4:8 says "The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love." If our Father in heaven is the embodiment of love- he cannot speak dishonestly. What God says about you is truth. The second that we start to believe the lies of Satan, doubt God’s goodness, or believe that we aren’t good enough- we make God out to be a liar because God speaks truth.
